Nice view of the glacier. The trek on Day 3 had every cliche of the Swiss alps. We started out walking through green hill-slopes, pastures for bell-swinging cattle, with views of glaciers, lakes and fording streams. Lunched at a conveniently located hut. Then we made a steeper, long ascent up close to the peak (Piz Languard), where Georgy runs his Hutte restaurant. Most of the gang had enough 'exposure' by then, and settled in for soup and bread. Some of us however, clambered up the rocks 100m more to make the summit.
